Bilkent University Faculty of Law is pleased to host an insightful lecture by Tomás Kevin Manguel, an esteemed International Criminal Lawyer, on “International Criminal Justice: The Interplay between Universal Jurisdiction and the International Criminal Court.”
Mr. Manguel is an Argentine lawyer specializing in criminal law, international criminal law, and human rights. He serves as a Professor of International Criminal Law at the University of Buenos Aires and as a Visiting Researcher at Humboldt University in Berlin, and he is also a Legal Adviser to the Argentine Embassy in Türkiye. With over twenty years of experience in the Argentine Federal Criminal Judiciary, particularly in organized crime and crimes against humanity, he has also worked with the UN International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) and the Guernica Centre for International Justice.
