On March 10, Emeritus Professor Turgut Tan of Bilkent University Faculty of Law delivered a lecture at ADA University (Baku) School of Law titled “New Trends in Administrative Law.”
On March 11, he also addressed an audience of legal scholars, public officials, and law students in an “üstad dersi” (master class) organized by the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
During his lectures, Tan explored emerging tendencies in administrative law and demonstrated a comparative perspective on administrative structures of Azerbaijan and Türkiye. He also addressed the functioning of independent administrative bodies and the role of judicial oversight in monitoring their activities.
