Bilkent University Faculty of Law students Nisanur Kalaycıoğlu and Eren Körün, under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Ş. Barış Özçelik, have been awarded funding under the TÜBİTAK 2209-A Undergraduate Research Projects Support Program for their project titled “Legal Liability Arising from the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare.”
The 12-month project aims to examine, through innovative methodologies, the legal liability issues emerging in the production of medical knowledge, particularly in AI-based healthcare consultation applications.
